I think that wanting to help the new MT is admirable. However, I do not understand why the punishment of no pay has to be a factor.

Regardless of one day of paid experience or not, any line that an MT does on your behalf makes you money. So, why must a "New MT" who has already shelled out a handsome tuition for training, have to go a full-time weeks without even 4 cents a line which is still slave labor in this economy. These are just some things that I am thinking.
