Love, love, love Nova Scotia -- it's my favorite place, but a litte too cold for me.  As for New Zealand, it has everything.  The extreme north of the North Island has a more balmy environment, beaches with the best snorkling ever!!  But then the South Island has the New Zealand alps -- beautiful.  And the Kiwi's are the best -- very friendly and actually like Americans.  Some of the most breathtaking wide open country, rolling hills, green pastures I have ever seen.  They raise venison over there like we do cattle here.  It is so weird to be driving down the road (on the left side!!) and see herds of domesticated deer!  And lots and lots of sheep!
