Big assumption

The only *research* that will prove your point is crystal ball-gazing or living through it. That's why they are called economic theories.

If you think some amount of research will "prove" that you are correct, then you should quit being a Transcriptionist & apply for Bernanke's job. I'm sure the Fed can use someone who knows absolutely everything & has the math to prove it.

All we can do is talk about probabilities & the likelihood that a certain plan is going to benefit one group or another. There are people a lot smarter than either of us who can argue quite eloquently on both sides of the issue.

One could argue that the more businesses making less than 250K are encouraged to compete because of a tax break, the more this will drive prices down because it will increase competition. & anyway, why are you making the assumption that it's only businesses making that kind of money? There are plenty of individuals who are making more than 250K, their getting taxed will not affect me other than to fund a tax break for the middle class.

Besides which, Read My Lips: Things are pretty bad right now, & a Democrat hasn't been in office for 8 years. What makes you think more of the same is going to make things better?

I responded to the post about taxes because the analogy seemed the result of misinformation, but issues other than taxes will inform my choice.

If I end up with a tax increase because of Obama, that's a risk I'll take to keep someone out of office who as governor of Alaska sponsors aerial wolf hunting, $150 bounty for the severed leg of a wolf. Among other things, some of which I've already mentioned.

Drill Baby Drill? Are you kidding? Besides this being a great example of the "vulgarization" of American politics I was reading about in the NY Times this morning, have you heard of peak oil? Solana Technology is the largest solar producer of electricity in .... guess where...Arizona, & all McCain can do is talk about offshore drilling like it's the final answer to finite supply of fossil fuel.

Geez...do all your research and do the math. And I am not just talking about taxes.

My assumption would be yes. nm

wow, you made that assumption of me HOW? sm
by the way, the immaturity and silliness of your answer just makes you look like a fool.  Might want to work on that.
Basing this assumption on what?

I ascertain that you believe this will happen under national health?  Why?  What is the basis of this assumption?

You have no basis in fact to jump right to the assumption...sm
that Bush and/or Cheney is to blame for this. None whatsoever.
