...not in the first term, but certainly shortly after the second one began (kill me now) he would suddenly see the light, return to the fold and re-up as a Muslim? Wouldn't that be a complete surprise? It's the only reason I can think that the whole Islamic world is not calling for his head on a platter as a heretic.
