it would be the family's choice about the obit.  Apparently many gays are estranged from their families due to their sexual orientation but I don't know this first hand.  The gal I mentioned in my previous post, everyone was hurt.  The guy raised her kids from a previous marriage and they loved him.  It must of hurt them deeply not to be able to give the fellow his rightful place but they did acknowledge him as best they could.  I know the family so I know how they anguished over this.  I think it may have something to do with Social Security with seniors but I'm not exactly sure, just know that some of them have to live together without benefit of marriage in order to pay their bills and eat.  Well, I don't exactly know anyone in this situation but have heard it locally and nationally on the news.
