Exactly.....

My DH's business always has a catered Christmas party with gifts for all the employees, etc.  This year they didn't do it because sales were down and they needed to save that money. So instead they had a carry-in dinner and no gifts.  

But here we have our government.......we have this huge deficit that will more than likely have another trillion dollars added to it, people are losing their homes and jobs, and they go on a spa retreat?  I'm sure they will use the excuse of wanting to stimulate the economy by spending money.  Okay fine....whatever......but spend your own dang money and not everybody elses money!!!!!  I really couldn't care less if they want to go to Vegas for a whole week or Hawaii or whatever but they can afford to pay for it themselves instead of using lobbyists and/or taxpayer's money.  Seriously....this is ridiculous.  I turn on the news and all they talk about is how bad we are and more people are losing jobs and our government pulls this crap.  But they care about the American people and change is coming....blah blah blah.........give me a break.
