You don't need to make this into a personal attack. I don't speak loud and I don't post on this board half as often as some others. I've tried to be fair to both sides in saying that the blame is on both sides - the pubs for the mess they've made over the last 10 years or so and the dems for the mess they're making now.
I'm not in the tiniest of minorities and I do live in the "real world" - you know, the one where you have to work to get paid, not wait for a handout from the government (there's my first problem with Obama). And I do believe that I have more than one ally on this board, just as you have more than several to back up your way of thinking.
Maybe I'm not a thoughtful forward thinker, at least not in the way you present, and I can live with that. But as long as there is the freedom of speech in this country, I'll continue to say Obama is not leading us down the right path. I pray that one day I'll be proven wrong, but until the crow is served for dinner, I'll stick by what I believe.
And it's not just Obama I'm upset with. It's the whole governmental system - how in the world could they pass a bill with that much money attached to it and not know what they were spending it on? How? If you and I did that in our jobs, we'd be fired on the spot!
I'm glad you're volunteering and getting involved - you should be. We shouldn't be a nation of folks who just sit around and think someone else will take care of it. We have to get involved if we ever want any changes, whichever kind of change you support.
But the thing is, you and I differ on how we get involved and what changes we support and that is what makes America great. We can differ in our opinions without worrying about getting shot down in the street because we don't agree with whomever might be in the majority. I respect that you have your own opinion and that you stick by it and I won't character bash you for it, just like I've never done to anyone else on this board. I'll discuss and I'll even argue, but I won't presume to insult you when I don't even know you.
