Yes, it's pretty sad when someone is so polarized that they can't even have a discussion with those who have even a slightly different view. Our president is not perfect, and actually last week he did admit to making mistakes. However, people like PK are so blinded and deafened by their ingrained notions they they fail to realize ( or read or watch objective news sources) that the president has admitted to mistakes. That's because their whole reasoning resolves around such ingrained notions that when they are addressed they still can't let them go. Not that one can expect them to.
I applaud your input here, because your country definitely knows about conflict, and you bring in a fresh outside view on this subject. Iran's president is one scary person, and I cannot fathom how another American or any world citizen sympathizes with him, but that's the great thing about being an American we are free to sympathize with whoever we want as long as it doesn't compromise the security of the country.
Keep posting Irish. We certainly can benefit from an objective viewpoint from someone outside the U.S.
