took on more than they could afford and knew it. That gimme my share, I deserve it mentality is why a lot of people are in financial trouble these days. While the lenders are responsible for giving NINJA loans and causing havoc in the housing industry, those who knew they couldn't afford that house also bought new cars, toys, furniture, etc, lived like there was no tomorrow and didn't save one red cent for a rainy day. I realize not everyone is in that situation, but if you were living the good life, spending like crazy and didn't bother having savings, I don't feel sorry for you. I should not have to pay for your mistakes.
