I look at it this way.

Everyone makes mistakes.  Haven't you done something that you knew was wrong but did it anyway?  I'm pretty sure we all have to a certain extent.  I know it is wrong to swear and I do it anyway.  Because conservatives talk about family values doesn't mean they don't screw up too.  It is ridiculous that they smell blood in the water when it comes to dems who cheat and go after them when some of them are no better.  I get tired of the finger pointing from both sides as I'm well aware, as I'm sure you are too, that there are many crooks on both sides.  Crats and Pubs are nothing but two parties who b!tch about the other party and yet doing the same thing when they are in control.   

I just think it is ridiculous to castrate Sanford for his affair.  He will have to answer for what he did and his wife kicking him out and his kids knowing what he has done is going to do more damage to him than us talking about his infidelity on this board.  However, if it does come out that he used taxpayer money for his little mistress......by all means.....go after the guy.  That should happen whether he be pub or crat.  You misuse taxpayer dollars.....you get nailed for it.  I wish more politicians were nailed for their misuse of taxpayer dollars.
