after reading the anti-Christian rant posts below...that everything Democrats (at least the ones on this board) hate about Christians is rampant in their own numbers. Intolerance....trying to shove an idea (Obama) down people's throats whether they like it or not....their way or the highway, nothing matters but what THEY believe. I see no difference.
The thing is...not all Christians are like those described by these people....and all Democrats are not like these people....Thank God for that!
Yes, Sarah Palin is a Christian. Nothing about her says intolerance. Barack Obama professes to be a Christian. They accept Christianity in him, not her? And have the nerve to call someone else hypocritical? People who live in glass houses should not throw boulders.

that I see numerous posts stating that Obama and democrats are attacking SP. This is categorically false. Obama has been a gentleman, as always. He is the one being attacked constantly. We have heard everything about him from his family to his grade school essays. The media has been investigating SP, just like they do every candidate. The people who are attacking SP with wild stories and statements are the crazies that love to stir things up. There are plenty of those on both sides. If an attack does not come from someone actually affiliated with the campaigns, it should not be attributed to the campaign or the party. Be adults here and don't view everything as black and white.

Good grief. If you sneeze and an earthquakes occurs
your sneezes cause earthquakes? Or do you realize that there were greater forces in motion for far longer than it took you to sneeze? There have been economists warning about this happening for over a decade, but no one that had the power to do anything about it would listen. And it is not just America, it is global.
I am not thrilled about the stimulus either, but something has to be done because the alternative is to do nothing. As far as doing nothing goes, you apparently don't remember Japan in the 1990s.
