Sex before marriage was not unheard of years ago, people were just a little more secretive about it. It has been going on forever. Heck, there were prostitutes mentioned in the bible, as well as concubines. People have been having sex outside of marriage for thousands of years. There were fewer unwed mothers years ago, because most of the couples that got pregnant chose to get married very quickly.
Homosexuality has been around since the beginning of time. The bible speaks against it in a very few passages and that is it. Now, the bible speaks of tithing over and over (200+ entries I believe) but I bet you most Christians aren't giving 10%, some aren't giving anything, but there is no great uprising to condemn those that don't tithe.
I think promiscuous sex is a bad thing, whether straight or gay. Knowing the number of gays that I have over my lifetime, I will never be convinced that they chose this lifestyle. I will side with those who believe there is a genetic link to homosexuality, and I believe, if it is genetic, then God made gay people gay and straight people straight.
I see no logical reason why a homosexual couple who are committed enough to want to be married and stay together, should not enjoy the same rights as a heterosexual couple.
Comparing homosexuals to killers is a little bizarre in my view - apples and oranges, but hey, whatever ...
