What a ridiculous statement
Some of you sound like you are tripping over your lower lips. Your assertions about our president are unfounded and childish. He is not the hypocrite. It is the right wing nut job republicans who are the hypocrites. Religious freedom? But it's okay to wish harm on another person, specifically the president of the United States? (a very popular president I might add.) Now THAT is hypocritical!
She ignored that ridiculous statement and responded to the

*nice* reference where she was called an elitist pig.

She replied with Yup, elistist pig here..Yeehhaaww~~

Where DOES one find glasses that can twist and contort a statement out of recognition until it reflects what you want it to say?

What a ridiculous statement. He had been president...
less than a year when that happened. It was all the things that Clinton let pass (Khobar Towers, first world trade center bombing, bombing of the USS Cole, and on and on and on...they just got emboldened, kept hitting us...and then came Sept. 11. That is one you can't hang on Bush, and Bush is the reason it has not happened again. On his behalf I say...you're welcome!!
ridiculous biased statement
He was a constitutional law professor for pete's sake. If there is any group trained to think on their feet, it is lawyers.   You are just making these things up with no basis..
What an absolutely ridiculous statement, GP....
no one has to incite skinheads. They have been hating minorities for years, just like the KKK. They hate Obama for his race and no one here had anything to do with his race. THIS kind of blanket comment is the kind that incites hatred of entire groups...just LIKE the skinheads....and for no good reason. Shame on YOU.
What a ridiculous statement. MOST Christians are prochoice!!! .....
You will blather out anything woncha?
Yeah, like I literally say that was the most ridiculous statement.

Not ridiculous - Obama should be the one making this statement.
Rumors have a way of getting out of hand and no, it's not just the right-wing. I know Pelosi didn't introduce anything into the into legislation, but just making the comment is bad enough.
"all Muslims"???
case in point.

No more valid than if someone were to say "all Christians."

There are Christians who are truly loving, inclusive people, and there are narrow, exclusionary, fringe extremists about whom Jesus would never stop puking.

I think you should take another look at Colin Powell's interview.

And that statement is ridiculous, Iran and Iraq enemies, remember the Iran-Iraq war? Iraq would jus

I don't know where you get your info, but the superdelegates are not "all for Hillary."
I do hope that you are doing more than spending your time expressing your hatred for Senator Clinton on message boards and/or making plans for a possible expat existence. Perhaps you should expend some of that energy by volunteering with Senator Obama's campaign. It seems more in line with the ideal of his campaign to do some positive rather than immersing yourself in negativity. I think both dem candidates are good choices and each brings something to the table. However, I do think Hillary's campaign should not mire themselves in the negativity of politics as usual and should focus on the positives that she brings to the table and not try to tear down the other candidates.
Did you not haer the "all they offered was appreciation" part?

Bush told reporter Jews as "all going to hell."

Book: Bush told reporter Jews are 'all going to hell'

09/02/2006 @ 7:53 pm

Filed by Larisa Alexandrovna

An upcoming book about presidential advisor Karl Rove reports allegations of anti-semitism by President George W. Bush, RAW STORY has learned.

In The Architect: Karl Rove and the Master Plan for Absolute Power, Austin-based journalist James Moore and Wayne Slater, senior political reporter for the Dallas Morning News, will allege that Bush once made anti-semitic comments to a reporter.

You know what I'm gonna tell those Jews when I get to Israel, don't you Herman? a then Governor George W. Bush allegedly asked a reporter for the Austin American-Statesman.

When the journalist, Ken Herman, replied that he did not know, Bush reportedly delivered the punch line: I'm telling 'em they're all going to hell.

This quip never received wider media attention. RAW STORY obtained a copy of The Architect late this week.

Bush's thoughts on the fate of non-Christian souls became a minor source of controversy after he told the Houston Post in 1993 that only those who accept Jesus Christ go to Heaven. However, the future president was also earlier briefly engaged to a half-Jewish woman.

The authors of The Architect assert that religion and ethnicity have been manipulated by Bush and Rove to divide and conquer the nation.

More information about the book, to be released Tuesday, can be found here.

Immediate White House statement on Dr. Tiller - still no statement on

Having had at least three relevant opportunities to make a statement about the killing of an Army recruiter and wounding of another since this occurred on Monday, Obama has not said a single word about it - but a statement was forthcoming from him immediately concerning the killing of Dr. Tiller.

The media coverage of the two events has also been strikingly different.  Please note that the sympathies of the liberal cause provide a complete explanation of both of these phenomena.

More than passingly strange that they think we don't notice stuff like this, n'est-ce pas? Well, they'll discover their mistake soon enough.  The election cycle of 2010 is already starting up - and it isn't going to look anything like the cycle of 2008.

Ridiculous. sm
Hey, aren't you guys worried about Rove anymore?
Ridiculous...I think not

This is not the military they are talking about. This is everyday people who have skills that can be used to help in the nation-building, desk jobs, PR jobs, all that sort of thing. An over-50 overweight person most certainly could do these things, clerical, educational.  In my neighborhood a 52-year-old national guard guy got called up for MILITARY duty so why would they not expect 50-somethings to lend whatever their professional abilities might be to lend a hand in desk job sort of work.

Am I going???? Are you nuts???

Of course not. I have fought against our occupation of Iraq from 2002 to this present day. I did not vote for Bush. I am just saying those of you that did, and those of you who just pretend everything is okay, this is your chance to show your true colors. I mean, after all, you are with the president or you're not (so he says).

We are not rebuilding anything in Iraq. They are on the verge of civil war. They can't put a constitution together and who in their right minds would expect them to be able to. You don't go from years of a monarchy to democracy overnight...and they are ending up with an Islamic government, sort of like...The Taliban!

Two simple questions.

What did my ______ die?

Are the Bush supporters, those who voted for him, are you going to join the civilian corps to support the cause you believe in?

That is ridiculous
Wow, that is a very scientific method, chosing who to vote or not to vote for because of their middle name. Wow. I may chose my next vote based on who is wearing my favorite color.

This is all so ridiculous, seriously.
Do you really think that the only reason Obama has said he feels family is off limits is to help his campaign? Do any of you really honestly think that? If so, then I do have pity for you to live in such a jaded world. He has children too and I can pretty much bet that he wouldn't want them attacked like that either.

It doesn't matter to me at all that SP daughter is pregnant and a teenager, everone makes mistakes. Period. It is not SP's fault this happened. No matter what you do or what you say when a child reaches a certain age they are going to make their own decisions and you cannot be there 24 hours a day.

I just have one question. Would any of you, as parents, put your child through this? Think hard and do some searching here. Don't just think about your political sides, because it doesn't matter if you are Ind., Rep, or Dem. If your daughter was 17 and pregnant, would you expose her to the public scrutiny? This is where my real problem with the whole thing is. It is not right that her daughter is going through this in the media, it should be private but we all know how the media, in all its forms, is today. SP didn't have to announce the pregnancy but it would have come out within the next few weeks or so regardless, she did the right thing by doing it in her words though and I am proud of that. But again, would you put your child through this. It is not bad enough that her daughter would have to worry about what people are going to say at school and in her home area, but now she has the world looking at her, talking about this - good or bad. Would you really put your child through that?

My question has nothing to do with birth control, abortion, etc. It is just a question, for me, of SP's judgment here. Would you put your child through all of this and for what? Your career or political aspiration?

My answer is no, I would not. Nothing is more important to me than my children, I'm sorry not even the VP job of this country. I don't care if your child says, "Mom, do it, I'll be okay." I would not and could put her through that.

Again, I am not saying SP is a bad mother and am not bashing her, I'm just saying IMO she used very poor judgment when she agreed to be the VP candidate. I would be saying this regardless of what party affiliation she has.
okay, this is ridiculous already
doesn't anybody have a shred of common decency left? Where the heck are you all coming up with this utter crap?
Isn't it ridiculous?
It is so ridiculous ... all the BS that flies around the web? And even more ridiculous that so many people believe it all. What the #^@%?!!

The whole flag pin thing is so juvenile and superficial too. Honestly, I don't see how politicians cannot view our citizens as a bunch of nitwits!
It's ridiculous and
childish and gets in the way of what the process is SUPPOSED to be!

There would be nothing wrong with a neutral panel analyzing their plans to the degree that they can to see if they work out numerically (as they always say the other's won't)

And to provide understanding into the issues voted on (since they are never about one thing but have a other crap slapped in with a main issue). Mainstream America would have a more realistic picture of who they are voting for.

Or perhaps they should just switch from mud slinging to Jello wrestling!
This guy is just ridiculous
So far he has lied about everything, talks about running for congress, and then stands up the one guy at a rally that gave him all the publicity (McCain).
What you are saying is just ridiculous...nm
nm
Ridiculous!

Below is copied directly from the link.  It doesn't talk about punishment of any kind for those who don't wish to participate.  It DOES talk about rewards, though, for those who do wish to participate.  It offers a choice.  You don't have to participate in it if you're rich and can afford to send your kids to college, but why do you want to deny those who can't the opportunity to do so?

You're filling this board with fiction and calling it truth.  THIS is the TRUE message of the link:

"Obama will call on citizens of all ages to serve America, by setting a goal that all middle school and high school students do 50 hours of community service a year and by developing a plan so that all college students who conduct 100 hours of community service receive a universal and fully refundable tax credit ensuring that the first $4,000 of their college education is completely free."

That is ridiculous.
If anything, his administration will return the rights that have been lost these last 8 years.
Ridiculous.
Every single word you utter. Do you actually know any lefties? You cannot begin to imagine how excited and energized the base is despite the pubs bets efforts to throw out their wet blankets. The progressives have always served the party as vigilent critical watchdogs. It is a necessary evil in ANY political party...the ability to be introspective, even self-deprecating at times...a lesson the pubs obviously have not yet learned the value of.
Oh, come on! This is ridiculous. You have gone off
nm
Ridiculous!
If Burris had not been appointed to fill Obama's senate seat, another Democrat would have been appointed, and the vote would have been exactly the same. So much for your silly conspiracy theory.
That is ridiculous.
My entire life has been devoted to midwifery and GYN/NICU/OB nursing, and you think that because I don't want to participate in abortions I should find another line of work? I've taken care of plenty of RESULTS of abortions gone wrong, in the form of babies who decided to take a breath after they were expelled or manually removed from their mothers' wombs. Does that count?
No it is not ridiculous!
You knew exactly what your job entailed when you signed up for it. If you are not willing to perform the requirements of your job, you should find another line of work.
Ridiculous
If you don't want your families torn apart, then make sure you are LEGAL!!!

I'm sorry but this is just getting ridiculous. I have no problem with immigrants, as long as they are here legally, following our laws, and helping to pay taxes.

The snowball just keeps rolling...
Tell Me About it! It's ridiculous...and to think,

just last month, Rendel was crying the blues about not having enough $$ to keep the state running, so took all this bailout money. He is doing a double duty bailout by following what O is doing and Rendel duplicates O's programs. He should be run out on a rail and thank heavens, this is his last term.

Tea Party in Harrisburg on April 15.

Ridiculous!!!

That's ridiculous
I bet you're behind Obama 100%, but he claims to be a Christian, so do you consider him to be a "glassy eyed born again zombie"?

I love how everyone deserves tolerance except for Christians.
TS: How ridiculous is this!: You say in
at the end of your post:...

I won't answer your absurd accusations again and 'return the other readers to the program previously in progress.'

Are we on TV and you are an anchor man?
This is ridiculous
Once again the actions of a few are being attributed to many. I am a Christian and I am not forcing my beliefs on anyone. I have never gathered to decide who the next victim is and I am not on a crusade to save anyone nor am I on a mission to take over the country and make everyone a Christian. You have said the gays and lesbians want to be left alone and live their lives. Guess what? So do Christians. I just want to live my life, worship as I choose and be respected for who and what I am as I respect others for who and what they are. True Christians love and respect their fellow man. If one does not do so, then they are not truly Christian people. I have said this before and will say it again, calling oneself a Christian does not make it so.
Ridiculous.
He's only been in office since January. You are totally unrealistic. He couldn't have just sat idly by and done nothing - that's just silly!

People said the same things about FDR back in his day, yet he turned out to be the best thing that ever happend for this country.

Get over your prejudices and give the man a chance.
Sorry, but that's just ridiculous!
I grew up listening to Elton John, George Michael, The Village People, and probably many more gay artists and am a very heterosexual female.

While I was disappointed to find out George Michael was gay (only becuase it ruined all of my fantasies), I was never forbidden to listen to his music.

Don't limit your daughter's music choices based on the sexual preference of the artist. Would you forbid her to read certain books if you found out the author was gay? It just has nothing to do with the content of music or literature.

Ridiculous claptrap. sm
and Barbra Striesand rides around Brentwood in a 2 million dollar motorhome burning 3 miles a gallon so she doesn't have to use public restrooms.  Now tell me again how horrible the liberals have it.
This is a ridiculous suggestion
Just like your parents can't make that decision for you Bush can't make those decisions for his daughters. For cryin' out loud, think about it? I don't believe they could sign up for Secret Service issues, because what more could the enemy ask for but a direct chance to take a presidential family member hostage. Have you even thought of the implications of that? I can't believe you all don't think this through before making such absurd suggestions...unbelievable.
Someone is looking ridiculous and it isnt me
Face to face?  What is this a threat, LOL?  Sweetie, I would tell you face to face any day what my ideology is, what my priorities are and whatever else you deem is necessary to discuss with me.  You wouldnt **let** me call you sweetie face to face?  I think you truly need to step back and take a deep breath..You are looking ridiculous.
Ridiculous, isn't it? Mr. Murtha
in his little toe than Cheney, Bush, Rumsfeld combined will EVER have. But, hey, let the propaganda catapulting and swiftboating begin..that's all they can do but to smear a marine who served his country for 37 years, was awarded 2 purple hearts and a bronze star, retired as a colonel. I guess support for veterans stops if they disagree with you. What a bunch of lying hypocrites.
What a ridiculous post...
"fund of knowledge is so limited and circumscribed it becomes tedious plowing through the self-righteous posts.." Talk about someone trying to "prove" her superior knowledge. Ridicule "for a lark" to make "others smile."

Here she is folks...the aspiring Ann Coulter of the liberal board.
That is ridiculous. That suggests that either one of them...
don't care. Last time he trusted FEMA to do their jobs. THis time he is going to make sure they do, and by all accounts, they are. On a basic human level, the assertion that George Bush doesn't care if people live or die is absolutely ridiculous. If Obama had been president during Katrina, he would have trusted FEMA to do their jobs too. Hindsight is always 20/20...geeezzz.
You are so ridiculous -basher.
nm
This is all ridiculous and sickening that
anyone could think up such doopuckey.
yes, exactly the same. It all sounds ridiculous to me
but people better start paying attention to the issues and stop with the emotions already. break it down, what is each candidate offering ME and my children. We are left to figure out the honesty from the lies but we should all step back and pay close attention to what is happening here.

I as an independent have been questioning motives - and I do not like being used.
Quite true, when it comes to how ridiculous
*
Now we go from the ridiculous to the sublime. s/m

All radicals and let me spell this out........supporters of both candidates, who pass on garbage as fact, can't see past the end of their collective noses and will say anything no matter how far fetched to see their candidate elected are the ones who will incite violence.

I participate in many forums, all with the same tone as this one, including a forum hosted by our local television station.  All seem to be dominated by incoherent people who believe anything they hear or read.  ALL of these people who participate in violence-producing negativity will have the blood of any candidate on their hands who MAY well be assassinated by some kook who takes all this rhetoric to heart.  I think even John McCain may have realized what his campaign was doing to incite violence when he turned away from the little old lady and said, "Obama is a good man, a family man, you don't need to fear him," he looked very sad.  I still believe that NEITHER candidate is the man for the job and I stand by that but Mc did gain some respect from me when he said that to that little old lady.  Poor woman, she was obviously scared out of her wits.

STILL DOING A WRITE-IN VOTE FOR LOU DOBBS!!!!
