I am due on February 21. I was on the pill and I never had a period after having my 2-year-old. You really don't know if she used birth control or not. Luckily, I am a married 30-year-old whose only problem with the pregnancy is that the timing is a little off, so my husband is going to miss the birth of our child. Had I abstained, which I understand is silly in my situation, I would not be having a baby by myself. My parents taught abstinence, I practiced it and I did not have a baby in my teens. It really does work. Birth control doesn't always.
