A lot of great orators have been very bad men, and a lot of poor orators have been very good men.
And, even more to the point, when you separate Obama from his teleprompter he's not a great orator anyway. In fact, without help he rather stumbles around, hesitates, repeats himself and makes factual errors - some of which have been real sidebusters (ummm, how many states are there, Mr. Obama?). So, there's really nothing here to discuss, except perhaps how wonderful teleprompters are - and how you can fool an awful lot of people with a gift for gab. In fact, that's one of the prerequisites for any con man - the gift of gab. When you've lived as long as I have, you'll understand how meaningless it is to be able to roll stock political fare smoothly off the tongue.
