I had to write what I did because I feel so strongly. This is just not any election. This is an election where we are in the middle of a war and I think the majority of the soldier's story needs to be told AND HEARD. I understand exactly where they are coming from. Think what you want of McCain (age, too pale, not enough hair, can't raise his arms, etc - or whatever reason you don't like the way he looks I don't care), but for the safety of our country look at his record. He has shown himself to be a fighter and leader. Even Bill Clintons own words were that Obama "has only been in the senate for one year". Even Biden said he is not experienced, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, and many many other democrats. There is too much at stake to elect someone with NO experience and the extreme radical viewpoints he shares. I don't care how much of a transe he can put his audiences in. People should know right from wrong. I was so outright disgusted and appaled to hear that only 30% of the military's votes will be counted. Have you noticed that only 30% are supporting Obama, so put 2 and 2 together. Who's votes do you think Obama will let them count - in case you can't figure it out the answer is Obama's votes. Only the military that voted for Obama are the votes that will be counted. Then they'll use the lame exuse of not being able to verify them or something like that (but they can verify the homeless, the duplicate voting going on for Obama, the voter fraud, the people coming from out of state to vote for him then going back to their own state to vote for him again, the criminals behind bars, the Mickey Mouses, Donald Ducks and one post said Casper the Ghost). Sure they can verify all them as valid but they can't verify the people who wear our uniform with our American flag, that have a nametag, their have their gasmaks at their side and weapons in hand and dodge in and out from bullets on a daily basis. Nope, can't verify them.
To me the soldiers votes are one of the most important votes. At least they are familiar with a lot of issues going on and what their commander in chief is going to do to help them (or not help them). There are those can't balance their checkbook but for some reason they claim to know what the issues are. Then you go in the streets and ask them who they vote for and you tell them McCains issues and they say yup, that's right, that's why I'm voting for Obama. Even when they are asked "Well if Obama wins, will you be upset that Sarah Palin will be the VP? Their answer is "No, I think she'll be a great VP". Eeeegads! Yeah, they know the issues alright.
All I say is I am truly saddened when one political party will disregard the majority of the military votes because they don't vote for him.
I thank my lucky stars for them every day and what they do and give our country.
