People need love and compassion in their hearts to make a system like that work.
Some people on this board wouldn't last a minute in Holland. Too many content people.

The notion of evil
Sometimes evil comes in many forms - not always neatly packaged in the guise of someone of middle-eastern descent. Sometimes evil is found in people who refuse to find alternative solutions to the human conflict other than killing....
Because I feel war/killing needs to be a last resort does not mean I do not not stand up for myself or my family. It also does not mean I am pro-terrorist. This is a childish, ignorant notion that I see the right perpetuating repeatedly. Not that the left is perfect, by any means!

As I said in a previous post, I believe in Jesus's death and resurrection. I just don't believe that belief is all it takes to get into heaven.
What's laughable is the notion that the pubs
This coming from the party that gave us 8 years of W.
The current Democratic Congress has also floated the notion of.....sm
outlawing the current 401K's that most of us have with our retirement funds in them.
Why?
Probably because they know how to invest our money better than we do, and want to make us put all our extra money into government backed retirements funds.
Sounds to me like a repeat of Social Security, where they'll use our money, put an IOU in a drawer someplace, and then say oops.....sorry, your money's all gone....
