Unfortunately

We've become a Jerry Springer society.  Anything goes.  I am just absolutely outraged.  My granddaughter just told me that the counselor at her school is pregnant and, no, she is not married.  We wonder why this small rural area has the highest teenage pregnancy rate in the state!!  They actually allow the girls who have babies (last year a 6th grader) to bring the babies to school for show and tell.  Maybe things weren't so bad in the 50s after all.  Mom stayed home and raised the kids and dad went out and made the living.  Our politicians on both sides have fixed that.  Who has the privilege to stay home and be a mom anymore, except for the very wealthy most of whom have become wealthy on the backs of hard-working middle class people.

Look at the new movies and the TV comedy apparently people think is funny. TV has 2 options, murder or sex.  Don't even get me started on music and the computer games.  Slowly but surely we've become desensitized to the point that there is no "right" or "wrong."  Until we fix our moral values we can't hope to fix anything else.

America needs to wake up and realize we do not need a Republican or Democrat president or congress.  We need a leaders with moral values and who truly believes "country first."  What we don't need is dressing up a barbie doll in $150,000 worth of clothes and trying  to pass her off as just a good ole gal reformer and then setting about seeing who can most effectively trash the other person.  Not to mention the billions spent on TV commercials and that wasteful spending  These are the people we chose to lead us?.   AAAAARRRG
