We as a human race are here because of heterosexual sex, not necessarily relationships. Now if we were to switch places and being gay was the norm and expected (side line - there was a time when being gay or bisexual was quite the norm as much as hetero), then we would be having this conversation about heteros. That's because there would be heteros in the closet - well, or not, I've never even seen one (closet) LOL - and thus, yes, there would most certainly be reproduction and an eventual big fight for hetero civil rights.

As for issues, I believe you. You don't seem like a lot of people who do have a LOT of them.

You are not questioned because heterosexuality is indeed the "norm" to the majority of the population. You have probably never gotten the answers to your questions because people have a tendency to go on the defense right away at the first sign that someone doesn't understand us. They get rude.

I actually have to laugh when people say anything to the effect of, "long as you don't push it on me, shove it down my throat, have to see it, ad nauseum," because think of what non-heteros have to deal with every day. Hetero couples getting down on television, swallowing each other's faces outside my favorite coffee shop, grabbing various parts of each other's bodies, etc. While I personally don't really care about it all that much, the only people pushing their sexuality on anyone else are heteros. I'm not talking the once yearly phenomenon of gay pride parades where the queens and boyfriends get crazy, nor am I talking about the few with absolutely no class who think it's funny to shock people (idiots). This is every day.

From what I can tell, or at least my personal opinion, is that the issues have to do with biblical issues. As I said, there was a time in human history when folks like myself were considered the norm as much as heterosexuals. It just was not an issue. The only argument I've ever heard against this has to do with scripture. Well, that and the TRULY ignorant who really don't have a reason but shriek and scream, "It's just gross and wrong," and usually much less eloquently. I feel that heterosexual coupling is wrong for me, but hey, I heard somewhere that you're born that way so....who am I to judge? ;-) Not that there's anything wrong with that and no one is perfect! Besides, just think of the decor of virtually the entire planet without gay men. Cammo and gunmetal. Horrors!!!

(getting a little punchy/goofy here)
