You said 9/11 was a gift to the PNAC (haven't heard of that title before). However, do you believe that one event could lead to another? Since Al Qaeda's first attempt in 1993 failed to produce the results they wanted (a bomb in the garage did not topple the buildings), could they have decided to finish the job by flying planes into top floor of each building? The architect of the WTC buildings had warned that an intense fire at the top of the buildings would make the towers unstable, however, the builders of the WTC choose to ignore that warning and build on the plans as they were presented. I believe the architect testified to this in front of the 9/11 commission.
It's obvious that a few posters believe there is a shadow government in operation here, and I know it will do no good to try and talk them out of it, but is it not possible that the Islamic terrorists actually carried out 9/11 on their own? I believe most of the evidence points to the fact that they did. I'm just a little mystified that people want to open up and rehash an independent bipartisan investigation just so they can manipulate some contrived evidence to point to Bush, Cheney, or whomever. I believe these new assertions are going way out on several limbs. I also believe some are so consumed and obsessed with toppling the current administration that they would go to any and all lengths to do it. I just find that the obsession of actually spinning the facts of 9/11 to somehow point to an inside job very disturbing, but to each their own.
