Constructive use of time?
IMO, the poster going to Memphis to check on Planned Parenthood office is constructive use of time. The millions of dollars going to murder unborn children is MY money and by the way, I have tried to do something about it. I do not want my money going towards abortions.
There is a local Pregnancy Crisis center here and they do not offer abortions and is just the opposite. When pregnant women seek them out, they give them the facts about abortion and do what these centers should be doing and that is helping the woman seek alternative means such as adoption and/or helping with their immediate situation since that is usually the reason most abortions are performed. They take them to see a doctor, counsel them on adoption, help with food/clothing and shelter if they keep the baby, and help them to find their own away so they will not feel along and scared. That is a private organization paid for by private monies, not stolen from the taxpayer.
I believe her use of time was very constructive. If we all keep our head in the sand, which is what Planned Parenthood would LOVE, nothing will change for the better!!!!
Than offer something constructive...
instead of whining about what you don't like. That's all we hear is whining and complaining without any solutions or suggestion that you feel would be a better way to go. Not only that, are you privy to the same information that President and Obama and his cabinet are privy to? Are you qualified to pass judgment on anything that he does when you don't have all the facts? Would you like some cheese with your whine?
Why don't you find something constructive to do with your time?
If you have such strong beliefs, why don't you do something constructive about it instead of bickering with anonymous people on a message board? Frankly, you are making me dizzy!
I think it would be good for kids to do something constructive -
why would you not want your kids to volunteer in the community to do positive things that would also pay them for college in the long run? And why such bitterness about the fact that he is proposing that idea?
It is not mandatory, so it is your choice, but the country is falling apart because nobody wants to do anything anymore!
