No - there is no hope of another prohibition. I just don't want to add to the problem.
I am apparently not making myself clear, for which I apologize and will try to correct the fault.

I wish no one took any mind-altering substances of any kind. As a cop, I saw how damaging to society all of them are.

I know we can't put the genie back in the bottle when it comes to alcohol. But I don't believe we should let the genie out of the bottle when it comes to legalizing marijuana.

If one (alcohol)is bad, how can legalizing another (marijuana) not be even worse?
