WorldNetDaily isn't a very good source for...well, anything, really. It's like a well-funded right wing blog. The article you link to, for instance, is written by Hal Lindsey. For an example of his intellectual reach, go into a used bookstore and check out his classic "The Late Great Planet Earth." He predicts apocalypse every few years, the coming of the Antichrist, the rapture, etc. These are not foreign policy ideas, these are biblical prophecy ideas, and the two realms of ideas do not overlap (at least, not in a way that increases our safety and the safety of our kids).

But his article, lame as it is, does give us a chance to ask good questions: What level of technology are other people allowed to reach, before we smack them down? Can they really not put up communications satellites? Can they really not use nuclear power? Does every path of technology wind up in some doomsday scenario that requires at least saber-rattling, if not actual bloodshed?

Since this is a liberal board, I wanted to point out that the website posted above by anon is to a website that is notoriously very right-wing conservative as well as at times inflammatory and slanderous.

Now, the specific article that the link takes you to about the Clintons, I have no argument with that...

Maybe others who went to this site already knew that it is right wing - but I didn't. And, in case others didn't, I wanted to point it out. We have to be careful what we feed our brains. I had never heard of it before, and saw a lot of awful inflammatory headlines there and wondered why.

I did a quick Google by searching "is worldnetdaily reputable" and the first link is very informative.
