Still struggling with this same report- I guess I am like a dog with a bone and just cannot let go of it! In replaying it multiple times it sounds like he is saying "the culture is interesting in that the organism is labeled beta-lactam positive but is apparently methasone sensitive" Does anyone know if there is a class of antibiotics called beta-lactam?
