Since his last evaluation he has completed a three-phase bone scan, which is available for my review, and the bone scan reveals very subtle, slight asymmetry with radiotracer uptake involving the region of the right greater trochanter.  It was felt to be posttraumatic in nature.  There is radiotracer uptake involving the region of the left patella, which could be secondary to patellofemoral osteoarthritis.  Fortunately, there is no evidence for abnormal radiotracer uptake on the s/l floor and glove per the images involving the hip joint itself.

Thank you
