S/l MMB 6, with tidal volumes of 780 and his Fi02 is 30%.  Not sure of MMB 6? Sorry if this is something in "my books"!  I do not want to ask something that is readily available, but I have looked and cannot find this.

Subject: Must be a Firefox glitch - or you need to revise your security settings sm

I had Firefox for a while, and it was okay, but I am so accustomed to IE that I went back to it. So I don't remember how similar or different the security options are. But you can try designating MT Stars as a "safe" site, or a site where you "allow cookies"....if you poke around in the Tools/Options settings, you should find something that will alleviate the problem.

Good luck!

Madhan's suggestion isn't a chart. If he specifically requests a chart I would type it that way. It doesn't matter what you think looks better. It matters what the doctor thinks looks better.

I wrote this one down -- cross-referencing in both "c" and "s"

Browsing this morning, I read original post and thought I had had "servant" as "cervatte" or something before -- looked up a couple different spellings, and could not find, so figured I must have been wrong and moved on. However, this one would have bugged me enough I would have spent more time searching later...

Glad you posted the correct answer.

Buckwalter retractor and Buchwalter retractor (rather than the correct Bookwalter?). There were several others, but I can't recall them now. I gave my book away about 15 years ago, and strictly use Stedman's Med/Surg Equipment words, Stedman's Surgery words, and Vera Pyle's latest. I think what you're seeing is an entry before Hasson was verified. The same thing happened with Steffee/Steffe and Veress/Verress. If there were two spellings for Hasson/Hassan, I would think Vera's book would clarify. Time will tell, though. Ya never know in this business.

It sounds like it might be spondylolisthesis, which would be descriptive of the L5-S1 joint; where as anterolisthesis refers to a subluxation of one vertebral body upon another would be stated as "there is anterolisthesis of L5 on S1"

CC: Back pain
Subject: CC: Back pain

Thanks for taking the time on this . . .

While the CC: is back pain, the subjective describes . . .

This is an 81-year-old female who, for the last month, has had some intermittent pain next to her right shoulder blade. She is right-handed, and she has been doing a lot of gardening and weed whacking. It does not bother her much during the day, but at night when she sits, and then when she is lying in bed at night, she feels what she describes as a muscle spasm with twinges. She also at times has some diffuse pain from her elbow radiating up to her neck when she “overdoes it”, but that has been going on for quite some time, and she does not feel like that has recently changed.
