We have always been told that when a fraction of this type is dictated, you type "one eighth".

98% sounds high for an ejection fraction, and MB fraction fits more with the context.

Subject: hyphenated fraction

I just got a note from QA telling me that fractions are not hyphenated.   Should be 1 1/2 and not 1-1/2.   This just does not even look right to me!  Have I been doing this wrong for the past 12 years?
