Hamstring footplates?

He's pretty clear - very good dictator. Just in 20+ years, never heard it put quite this way.  Here's the sentence (from MRI of the pelvis):


The piriformis muscle, sciatic nerve, and hamstring footplates are normal.


Anyone?  TIA.
