Subject: Help with Sleep Health term s/l aerodynia

He is currently on BiPAP at 14/10 cm of water via a full face mask with heated humidity and no chin strap.  He was decreased from an original pressure of 16/10 secondary to s/l "aerodynia" problems as well as mask leaks.

Has anyone heard of this term?  I can find nothing when I Google it and it sounds very clear.

Thanks

It is checked...doesn't capitalize after well, site, knee, that, health
Subject: It is checked...doesn't capitalize after well, site, knee, that, health

Sorry to use the word board for this question. I probably should have put it in another forum. Thanks for any suggestions.

If the words well, site, knee, that or health come at the end of a sentence, the next sentence doesn't auto capitalize.

I'll probably just have to very carefully check every sentence throughout the document, since grammar check doesn't want to work properly today. javascript:editor_insertHTML('text','');

Subject: q. hour of sleep

I e-mailed AAMT with this same question about a month ago.  Their response to me was as follows:

"He may be dictating "hour of sleep" because he expects you to use the abbreviation h.s. However, this particular abbreviation is on the Dangerous Abbreviations List, and we are encouraged to transcribe this as either "nightly" or "at bedtime." If the dictator questions you about this, you can show him the appendix in your Book of Style or refer him to the Dangerous Abbreviations List under Patient Safety Goals on the JCAHO web site (www.jcaho.org)."
