Presurgery H&P, patient's medical history is of hypothyroidism, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and stroke.  Medications are Monopril, s/l on-gre-nox (heavy Russian accent ESL), and triamterene, s/l siko, lomotil, atenolol, Synthroid, and Asacol.  Any ideas on the missing two meds??  Thanks everyone a bunch!

When transcribing results of arterial blood gas tests, which abbreviation is correct:  PAO2 or PaO2?  Each of these has different meanings, according to the website I use for acronyms/abbreviations.  Actually, I have always typed PAO2, don't know if this is correct, and have never heard otherwise.

Go to google.com and type in bronchoscopy RB2 and you can research it and find out.

I am not intending to be mean but you need to know how to research things you do not know so that you can learn them. Onelook.com is another great resource.

you can use a wildcard "*" to search for a phrase on Google. If you enter "carotid * are brisk" you will get all matches to that phrase. You must use the quotation mark before and after and the wildcard * symbol for the unknown word. Unfortunately Google will not find partial words (yet)...wish it did! Try it, you'll see your "carotid upstrokes are brisk" comes up in quite a few hits.
Sorry, if you think it is not aspects, I will keep searching.

Classification of Severity of Hirsutism
In 1961 Ferriman-Galwey published studies on 430 Caucasian women between the ages of 15-74 years based on patients seen in a hospital clinic. The system is based on 11 body sites with a severity score of 0 to 5 for the upper lip, chin, lower back, upper abdomen, arms, forearms, thigh and leg.

Score for the upper lip and chinGrade 1 - a few hairs at the outer part of the upper lip/few scattered hairs on the chin

Grade 2 - small moustache at the outer margins of the upper lip/scattered hair with a small concentration on the chin

Grade 3 -moustache extending halfway from the outer margin of the upper lip/light complete coverage of the chin

Grade 4 -moustache on the entire upper lip/heavy growth on the entire chin

The first poster was obviously correct too. I don't know why it didn't come up with that when I searched it. It has just been one of those days.
