overread vs over-read vs over read
Subject: overread vs over-read vs over read

OneLook has a disclaimer for the definition of the word overread that says: This definition is from the 1913 Webster's Dictionary and may be outdated. Some of the links listed on OneLook give the definition, some say the word does not exist, another gives the definition and then says (not used). There are references online for over-read, overread, and over read. I think over-read with a hyphen is a nice compromise. It's situations like this that make me dazed and confused!
I found a lot of articles by Steinbeck about foot tendon surgeries. Could that be your s/l?

Some of these docs do refer to "still living" docs that develop certain surgical procedures that haven't been recorded in the permanent annals of medicine.

I'm doing a report dictated by a urologist, and he's doing a cystocele repair and urethrocele repair with Prolift and secure (or this could be Secur, as in the TVT Secur by Gynecare, but I don't know that for sure) synthetic graft. Anyway, he says a deep s/l European incision was then made over the vagina over the bladder area.

I've never heard of a European incision and can't document it in my search efforts thus far. I've checked my books and online references and am still looking......
