This is driving me crazy!  I cannot get the spelling correct and I know the word!

What is the correct spelling of perinicia? 

80 year old patient - Dr. says "The brain and ventricles show moderate generalizes changes of atrophy, both supra and infra s/l sin-toil."  Help!

I think everybody has moved on since this word was posted earlier, but I would like to know what this word means and I cannot find it.  Is it an instrument used in brain surgery, a structure in the brain, what, the name of an x-ray, what?  And how did Pugmom find it?  Or did she not find it but found combining forms?  I would be grateful for a helping hand because I am confused. 

CT scan indicated parenchymal hemorrhage in the left "porta porten portamen."

May be stuttering but still have no idea what portamen could be... TIA!!

Someone is talking over the dictator in the background and one section is not clear.  He is saying:

"Negative for intracranial vascular abnormalities.  The s/l SOLID TURSKAR region appears normal.  Negative for mass, mass effect, cerebral edema....."

Because of this dictator's N'Awlin's accent, the second word MAY BE "vascular" but I could not correlate with "solid vascular region" of the brain.  Any help? 

Her repeat EKG showed some atrial flutter.  She had small vessel ischemic changes, significant atrophy but the normal brain otherwise without mass, acute infarct or hemorrhage.

Any ideas?

The PA is dictating that the patient is s/l *amlical* to having physical therapy before surgery.  OMG I know what she means but it has thrown me for a loop with the way that she said it.  PLEASE help
