Need proofing help

I am still a little shaky with surgical notes as I do not do them frequently.  Could someone look this over and give me some feedback as to whether it makes sense.  The part I am specifically unsure of is regarding the placement of the sound. 


She is placed in the dorsal lithotomy position in the exam room.  Sterile speculum is inserted in the vagina, visualizing the cervix, and then the cervix is washed with Betadine solution.  A tenaculum is placed on the posterior lip of the cervix and the sound placed easily with light finger pressure to 8 cm.  The Z-sampler is inserted while on suction.
