pseudodisc bulge?
Subject: pseudodisc bulge?

I transcribe for radiologists in two states, and lately some of them are dictating  "pseudodisc bulge."   I wouldn't think it would be a pseudodisc, but rather, a pseudobulge of disc.  I've googled both terms, and don't get many hits for either.  What should they be saying?  Is this one of those doctor coined phrases?

would be my guess.

The adjective bulbous has 2 meanings:

Synonym: bulblike

Meaning #2: curving outward
