where they burn coal. He says he has been exposed to s/l fly ash which can reproduce symptoms similar to s/l silicoliosis.

guess is that they are talking about degrees of flexion at those 2 digits of the pinky, so it means 15 degrees and 15 degrees, if that helps you decide if you want a comma between the numbers or perhaps a back slash.
