Question regarding Avonex..sm

Has anyone ever heard of using Avonex for Parkinson's?  

Doc states: She started on a new medication for Parkinson’s that is called Avonex.  Upon researching Avonex I can only find that it is used for MS.

Any help would be truly appreciated.
