She stated the account was verbatim, and clients expect to get what they pay for. We can't just change account directions because we feel like it. That would be telling the client, "Sure, I'll do your account verbatim, but only when I feel like it. If I want to change something, I will."

I don't hardly think that would go over well with the client. With a verbatim account, the client expects the finished report to reflect exactly what was dictated -- nothing more, nothing less. If the account wants the MTs to expand abbreviations, they wouldn't ask for a verbatim account.

Subject: Thanks for the idea, I had it a little off

I thought for sure the first part was "he was still" but my son, hearing me listen to it over and over, actually got that it was "he was told" and then I was able to get the rest.  "He was told about a lupus anticoagulant."  That makes a little more sense than what I had!  Thanks for the help though!  That was a good idea.

about many things, including how many contributions I've made to this forum.

You appear to be lying in wait until you see a punctuation question you can pounce on with "Since when? Who said? What rule? NO NO."  It is a terrible shame because you seem to know a bit about punctuation at least. Maybe you should spend a little less time on grammar and a little more time on manners.

I am not trying to pick a fight, I merely made a suggestion to enhance the general experience of using this forum.  You obviously think you are socially acceptable, so I guess folks will have to endure.

Coabnormality doesn't seem to be a word, but maybe he's just making it up.  Either that or it's hetergeneous [something else?] abnormality, but I can't think of what.
