Not sure about the "lispro insulin.." but here is how I type the sliding scale -
Less than 60, orange juice and call; 81-150, no insulin; 151-200, 6 units subcutaneously; 201-250, 8 units subcutaneously; 251-300 (probably 12 units) subcutaneously; 301-350, 14 units; 351-400, 18 units; over 400, 23 units and call. I'm sure there are a lot of ways to type it and mine may not be the best way...but anyway, she is telling you how much sliding-scale insulin to use depending on what the blood sugar is.
