Doctor referred to rash as tinea corporis/ s/l rootsie colorig with the accent on the second o in colorig, but it didn't come through very clearly, so he could have been saying anything.

He does complain of having noticed a rash in his inner thigh area. He works a lot outdoors kayaking and hiking. He is worried whether it could be manifestation of s/l bhorain.

Hi all,

I am now in a panic on this one.  I have spent an hour looking for this word.  The patient has the diagnosis of photosensitive allergic dermatitis and only has a rash on the face.  Toward the end of the report the doctor dictates the following: We did discuss _______ but this is not clinically that diagnosis.  The blank sounds like ericiproteous OR a resiprotus.  Thanks for your help and time. 

Under skin section in PE.

Faint maculopapular rash with dry skin present on the back and chest. The patient has mild, improving GES-CLA-MATION along the palms.  Mild improving erythema noted along the waistband of the abdomen and scattered lesions along bilateral lower extremities.

Help??

Skin – Erythematous rash, raised, with white scalene boarders to bilateral sides of groin.

A:  (s/l) TIN-YAY-ACCRURIS

P:

1.      Clotrimazole cream 1% topically twice a day for 1 week after rash resolved.  Dove soap for cleansing.
