I will not use it either. I do not think it is professional looking and if I was still going through training, it would not be acceptable to the school either. but my Stedman's spellcheck will not accept it, either.

Not to be rude - it IS coffee grounds that one can vomit and when used as a noun, but when it's used as an adjective, it is coffee-ground emesis....I suppose it could be an either-or so I'm not giving anyone an argument. Just have seen Stedman's be wrong on many occasions and I don't use Stedmans as a result.

Stedman's Orthopaedic & Rehab Words, third edition, it is LeFort WITHOUT a space. Also, Claudia Tessier's "The Surgical Word Book", second edition, has it WITHOUT a space. And finally, Vera Pyle's "Current Medical Terminology" eighth edition has it WITHOUT a space.

Which Stedman's has it WITH a space? I'm interested, not arguing. Perhaps either way is correct/acceptable.
