Try googling H1c, lots of hits  from (apparently) patients.  Also, wondered if slurring could make "an A1c" sound like your HUNC ? Also found at least one reference to histoplasmosis marker of H1C.

MRI is reviewed confirming the presence of a full-thickness supraspinatus tendon tear with early glenohumeral arthritis. The patient apparently had a long head biceps tendon operation as well, perhaps s/l an or in acoa.

The patient has another orthopaedic surgeon in New York that has done a shoulder procedure (he says this in the HPI) and I can't tell if he's saying "an" or "in" acoa.

Thanks MT50.

I would do 60%. I have several doctors that will say 60 (as in ) 6-0. Clarifying the numbers so you don't put 16. They do 50, 5-0 so you don't put 15 because they sound close. It just sounds like sixty-six-zero. Put what you feel is right but I would be from experienc it is 60%

I know we need to defer to the BOS, which is MQ's basic style, so I put 3.  Funny how it really didn't occur to me until today, seeing it as "3" in ASR.

Thanks.

Subject: just because it doesn't matter to YOU

and google is NOT the authority on when to use which word. You can find errors all over the internet and I don't consider google a research tool unless it takes me to a manufacturer web site so I can find a copyrighted spelling.

A good dictionary and solid reference materials are needed. Additionally, the OP did not say the client wanted it one way or another so your bringing that into the equation makes you look as though you are trying to justify what you do, and I really do not care what you do. You are only trying to deflect the direction of the discussion to one in which you _win_ and you try to make me _lose_. The people here who lose are the ones who still don't know the CORRECT usage of the 2 words.

I stand my ground. The OP still does not know definitively how to use these 2 words based on this thread. And you can huff and puff and try to blow my house down but you still don't _win_.
