Subject: Thanks, that's what I did...

I know it wasn't Lasix, he definitely said Xanax and the patient does have depression and anxiety, but 20 mg 3 t.i.d. would be 30 pills a day, I just wasn't comfortable letting it slide without asking if that was for sure what they meant. Always feel like I'm walking on eggshells if I dare to question a doctor's dictation but they are all the time dictating mg when they mean mcg and things like that so I wonder if he either meant another medication or meant to say 2 instead of 20. Guess I'll check back later to see if QA decided to go with 20 or leave a blank.
