Sole or solo practice? sm
Subject: Sole or solo practice? sm

I cannot hear if my doctor is saying, "solo" or "sole practice" when describing another doctor. I need opinions as to which term is more widely used? I know I can flag it to the doctor's attention, but I found both on google, so I'm curious. One time in the report, it sounds like he says it one way, and another time, the other way!

Ok, today is a day where I feel like an idiot... Can anyone help?

The patient has some arthralgias pain. I typically do ophthalmology and P.T. so I don't know how to type the following tests and I also have no idea what she is saying in the ____ area. Sounds like "also 1 aceta rate".

"...time I repeated an arthritis panel including an ANA and an anti CCP all of which were negative. She had a CRP ______ rate of 12..."

Can anyone offer help how I type the ANA and anti CCP and does anyone have an idea of what might be between the CRP and rate of 12?

I know it's a lot to ask. Having a bad typing day!

Thank you,
Mo

Patient referred for chronic eye irritation (m)
Subject: Patient referred for chronic eye irritation (m)

The patient has chronic s/l mydromitus, causing early tear film break-up time.  She probably also has decreased aqueous production.  I suggested she use an antibiotic-steroid lid scrub twice per day for the next month.

Thanks for any help.

Subject: With pregnancy, uterus referred to as gravid, but

with a FIRST pregnancy, since no child has ever been delivered, cervix is still nulliparous. After delivery, the cervix changes in appearance/shape and is then parous. At least that's what I was taught many years ago in nursing school.
