Not to toot my own horn, but I was always excellent at English, and this is the one that always has me stumped -- still does - and I still don't know which goes where.  After reading all the below posts, I see there seems to be some difference of opinion from everyone else as well.  I will NEVER learn this.  30+ years experience to boot.

I have an ESL doc who pronounces words that end in *ary" as *ree*. So pituitary would become *pitui-tree*. Hope that helps!

Plastic surgery - French word?

Her only complaints are those related to her gynecologic operation but she thinks these are better. Her abdomen is nice and flat and smooth. She has nice midline s/l raw-fay. There was some ends of sutures snipped off but otherwise she is doing very well.


Besides the identifying info, this is all that is in the report so it does not give much to go on.

I don't have the report anymore so can't quote it.but he said he used a bent MVR and s/l dort forceps and also used a s/l dano (for peeling membranes)...looked everywhere possible for this but all the ophthalmology sources I found need a log in the access the material..like it's a great big secret what they do and they don't want anybody to know anything about it at all!! I'm sure I'll have this again and would really appreciate any help that you can give.

I think you're right about cervix (vs. service)--apparently he's just pronouncing it a little slurry and it just makes more "sense".

I've listened and listened, but I'm certain that Babcock is not it even if he's saying it badly. I hear nothing at all prior to "koch".
