cancal or pancal?

This one is really giving me a headache!  Any suggestions? 

Regarding a patient who has worsening renal function.  Dr. states:

It is my opinion that patient has a gentle condition and cankal status has not changed even though her kidney functions have gotten worse.

• cancal or pancal? - LHMT

    • Um, it could also be "general condition" - they say that more often than "degenerative" - lx
