she does have edema bilaterally, and the doctor recommends keeping her legs elevated and a no-salt diet.

States:  A wire was then passed through the needle, the needle was removed, and the triple lumen was placed over the wire and the wire removed. This was sutured in place, all 3 lumens with a positive s/l "flash." 


Is "flash" lingo for blood return? or is he saying something else.  I've not typed these before.
