I would type it like that:
First question: 1-1/2 years.
Always type numbers, except beginning of the sentence.
So, 2nd question:
Either you type :
One to one and a half bottles...
or you type:
Consumes 1 to 1-1/2 bottles .....

Don't know if it is only me, but since SPalin started to do her own 'things', not following blindly all the instructions and orders of the Republicans' campaigning and even refusing to be always obedient, I started to like he better.
Maybe she would really have done better on her own. At least now she stopped with all her 'smiling' and being so 'cheerful.'
