Subject: help

Doctor says: "The patient is here today for a refill of her thyroid." She didn't dictate medication, but should I put that for clarity? I was told in school to type exactly what the doctor said but at the same time to make corrections as necessary. "Refill of her thyroid" sounds funny to me.
