For the migraine headaches, the patient is going to continue on the Elavil 50 mg. However she was concerned about breast feeding. The information available does show that it does cross into the breast milk, however in very small doses. Pediatric calcification is that there is potential toxicity.


Last sentence is what ASR spit out, problem is that is what it sounds like, and I'm flummoxed!!!! Help!

This is a term heard in joint replacement surgery, and I've been transcribing anterior skin cut by mistake.  It's anterior skim cut.  I want to understand the term.  Googling didn't yield a definition from what I could find.
