Everytime I tried, I kept getting "Bednarski" which does not apply to incisions, but I kept leaving out the "h" before the "k."

Guess that's why I never tell someone they should "try googling" -- they probably already did. I can try and try some days and not get the answer.

It really had puzzled me how you were able to google and find this odd incision, although since I was just "reading posts" and "wasting time" not working on my own report, I just flipped over to google quick searched, and then tried a few incision type googles, when I didn't find I gave up. Had I been typing the report, I might have searched a bit more.

In any case, I was not the original poster, but just wanted to let you know sometimes even if the rest of us find the answer quickly, the original poster may be have searched a long time before posting the question.

Have a great day.

that she was probably meaning thiotepa/TBI/Cytoxan

But sounded more like a V than a B and she clearly said "thiaPENTA". Grrrr. Wish they would learn how to pronounce this stuff.

Hey, thanks for your help!!!! Have a great day!

Just throwing this out there, but I was corrected many times that a french is a unit of measure, not French as in from France. Would not be capitalized. 3 french = 1 mm.
french
Subject: french

I have seen both ways. However, it is french, not French (as in from France). A french is a unit of measure and not capilalized, just as you would not capitalize inch, foot, etc.
Sorry, but it is French not french

It has been that way for years. Tessier Surgical Word Book has it as French under catheters as well as other items, French dilator, French cystoscope, etc.

Subject: Thanks, I finally settled on pantoprazole..(sm)

I found it after a LONG search..it's the generic for Protonix and the patient had stomach problems so that's what I used!!  It was a nurse practitioner dictating..I wish they would just spell the drug name instead of trying to pronounce it.  If they would spell what they are reading, even if it isn't right, it would be a lot better to search from what is spelled than what they say.  Most of the time they don't even come close to pronouncing something the way it is supposed to be.  Thanks!
